Chestermere-Strathmore is a provincial riding located in southern Alberta. This riding is currently represented by United Conservative MLA Leela Aheer who first took office in 2015.

Aheer collected 15,612 votes, winning 68.48 per cent of the vote in the 2019 Alberta provincial election.

Aheer was a candidate in the 2022 United Conservative leadership race after former premier Jason Kenney announced his intention to resign last May. However, she was eliminated after the first round of results. In October, she announced she would not be running for re-election with the UCP.

Voters will decide who will represent Chestermere-Strathmore during the upcoming Alberta provincial election on May 29, 2023. Visit this page on election night for a complete breakdown of up-to-the-minute results.
