The manslaughter warrant was issued in relation to the May 2022 death of 22-year-old Keanan Crane. Crane was found dead near Morley, Alta., about 60 kilometres west of Calgary.

Police said they believe Tait was involved in Crane’s homicide.

Before he was found dead, Crane was not seen for over a month, and his family had filed a missing persons report.
