TLC@Home looking to brighten children’s Christmas

SASKATOON – TLC@Home is looking to touch the lives of children in Saskatoon this Christmas.

Started by Shelley and Laddie at The Hairstyle Inn in 2006, TLC@Home aims to ensure every child at participating schools receive a Christmas gift box.

Everything from toothbrushes to mittens and toys is welcome for kids from kindergarten to grade eight.

One touch is that each gift is personalized with the child’s name.

Global Saskatoon is proud to partner with The Hairstyle Inn and Cameco for TLC@Home.

There is a need for donations to make Christmas that much better for the participating children:

Shelley Weslowski says people can even make their own gift box to be given to a child.

“If you want to shop for a kid, we can give you the name and age of a child, if you want to make it personal, we can do that to,” said Weslowski.

For the name of a child, visit The Hairstyle Inn or call 306-242-4222.

Global Saskatoon personalities will be at The Hairstyle Inn on Friday, Nov. 15 collecting donations.

The personalized gift boxes will be delivered later this month and in early December.
