Saint John police say the recent deaths of two people found inside a home on Red Head Road Monday remain under investigation, but appear to not be criminal in nature.
“As a result of preliminary investigation, there has been no evidence collected to suggest that either of these deaths are criminal in nature,” police said in a release Wednesday. “The causes of both deaths remain under investigation awaiting further medical testing.”
Police say they were called at 8:13 a.m. for medical assistance at a residence on Red Head Road.
There, a man and woman were found dead inside the home.
“The Saint John Police extend our heartfelt condolences to the friends and family of both deceased individuals,” the release said.
“At the families’ requests, their names will not be released at this time.”
