John Driscoll joined the cast of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS in July, 2009 as army veteran Phillip "Chance" Chancellor IV. Chance returned from fighting in Iraq to discover that his father Phillip III had faked his own death. Chance continues to pursue danger despite the concerns of the women in his life.

Driscoll most recently portrayed Henry Cooper "Coop" Bradshaw on the CBS daytime drama "Guiding Light" from September, 2004 until January, 2009.

Driscoll attended George Mason University, where he majored in theatre and appeared in stage productions of "The Odd Couple," "Vagina Monologues" and "Dangerous Liaisons." He also played lacrosse and racquetball, and was a brother of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity.

Driscoll’s acting credits include the short film "Happenstance," and television appearances on "Law and Order: Criminal Intent," "The Book of Daniel," "One Tree Hill," "Dawson’s Creek" and "Young Americans." He also had a brief run on the New York stage in an off Broadway ensemble production.

Along with years of singing, dancing and modeling experience, Driscoll greatly enjoys the outdoors and sports. He has also been involved with various charitable organizations since his college days and continues to participate in many benevolent events and activities.

Driscoll was born in Woodbridge, Va., and currently resides in Los Angeles
