Homicide investigators have identified the man fatally stabbed in Mission, B.C., on Monday afternoon.
Police found 26-year-old David Leggat suffering from critical injuries in the 7200 block of Park Street at 3:36 p.m. First responders provided first aid, but he succumbed to his injuries, police said in a news release.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has been leading the investigation and working with several police teams, including the Combined Special Forces Enforcement Unit of B.C.
IHIT said one man was arrested in relation to the stabbing shortly after it occurred, and that police arrested two other men on Tuesday.
No one has been charged, and police were waiting on a search warrant to search a home in Mission, IHIT said.
Police added they believed the stabbing was an isolated incident.
Homicide investigators released a photo of Leggat Tuesday evening in the hopes it could advance the investigation.
Anyone who knew him is being urged to contact homicide investigators or the Mission RCMP.
IHIT is asking anyone with information on the incident, including dashcam footage in the 7200 block of Park Street between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., to contact its information line at 1-877-551-4448.
