Calgary’s current mayor Naheed Nenshi is considered by many to be the front-runner in the 2013 election. He is running against eight other candidates.

Candidate forums for the Calgary election

Candidate forums have been organized by CivicCamp, an organization committed to hosting a forum for every municipal race in Calgary.

Authorized ID requirements

Authorized ID requirements have changed for the 2013 election. Visit the city’s website to view the full list of authorized forms of ID that will be accepted at voting stations.

Other Alberta races will have election results from municipalities across the province on our Decision Alberta page, and on social media.

Polls are open Monday Oct. 21, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., local time.
