MONTREAL – A pre-trial conference for accused killer Luka Rocco Magnotta has been postponed until Nov. 13.

Magnotta faces five charges — including first-degree murder — in connection with the Montreal death and dismemberment of Jun Lin, a 33-year-old engineering student.

The goal of the meeting is to prepare for the trial, which is set for Sept. 15, 2014.

The conference was initially scheduled for today at the Montreal courthouse — but was postponed until next month so the trial judge could preside over it.

The 31-year-old Magnotta, a former stripper and porn actor, was arrested in Berlin in June 2012 following an international manhunt that made headlines around the world.

The native of Scarborough, Ont., has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
