Waterloo Regional Police said they placed Cameron Heights Collegiate Institute in Kitchener on “hold and secure” on Wednesday morning.
On Twitter at around 1120 a.m., police said they were conducting an investigation at the school. About 45 minutes later it was declared over.
“Students will not be released from their classrooms until police lift the hold and secure,” the Waterloo Region District School Board said.
