The Fair at the Pacific National Exhibition has been hit with a second power outage in less than a week last night.
PNE says both outages were the result of a malfunction in their electrical distribution system.

Thursday’s outage happened around 7:30 p.m. and lasted for over half-an-hour, but did not delay any of the shows.
Nineteen of the amusement park rides were also affected and temporarily deactivated. PNE says guests who were on those rides at the time had to be escorted off until power was restored.
The first power outage happened last Saturday shortly after the gates opened, shutting down half the fairgrounds, including the rides.
