No one claimed the grand prize for Friday night’s $70 million Lotto Max draw but there were eight tickets sold across the country which were worth $1 million.
There were 33 Maxmillion prizes up for grabs four went to lottery players in Ontario and with winning tickets being sold in Sault Ste. Marie, North York, Windsor and Mississauga.
Two others were sold in the Prairies, one and British Columbia and one to a lucky ticket holder in Enfield, N.S.
Other major winning tickets sold in Ontario included one to a second-place winner worth $200,900.90 in Mississauga and a $100,000 Encore winning ticket sold in Kitchener.
According to OLG.ca, the winning numbers for Friday’s main draw were 02, 03, 16, 28, 31, 42 and 47, while the bonus number was 12.
The jackpot for the next Lotto Max draw on Tuesday will again be an estimated $70 million, but the number of Maxmillion prizes will increase to 47.
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation said the $117 million in top prizing available in Tuesday’s draw marks the biggest top prize pool in Canadian lottery history.
