Global News is projecting Bryan May has been re-elected as the Liberal MP for Cambridge.
The Ontario riding of Cambridge, which includes a section of the city of Cambridge lying south of Highway 401, the Township of North Dumfries and a portion of Brant County, has a population of 115,463.
Immigrants make up 20 per cent of the riding’s population, with large groups from Portugal, India and Pakistan. Portuguese, Spanish, Punjabi and French are some of the most common non-official languages, according to the 2016 census.

This riding is home to the Christmas in Cambridge festival, which includes the famous Cambridge Christmas Market.
Liberal MP Bryan May was re-elected by Cambridge voters in the last federal election. The incumbent MP beat Tory candidate Sunny Attwal by 5,494 votes, a margin of 9.5 percentage points.
May was first elected in 2015 to unseat longtime representative Gary Goodyear, a Conservative.
