SASKATOON – Several buildings in Saskatoon’s Riversdale neighbourhood had to be evacuated Monday morning after a natural gas line was ruptured.
Saskatoon Fire and Protective Services were called to 322 Avenue C South after construction crews punctured the gas line going into the building.

The surrounding streets were blocked off and buildings immediately around the leak were evacuated as a safety precaution.
No injuries were reported
SaskEnergy was called in to deal with the rupture.
