Abitibi–Témiscamingue is located in the southwestern part of Quebec along the Ontario border.
It includes a number of reserves including Timiskaming Indian Reserve No. 19, Pikogan Indian Reserve and Eagle Village First Nation-Kipawa Indian Reserve. Sébastien Lemire of the Bloc Quebecois won the seat in 2019, after NDP Christine Moore did not seek re-election. She had the seat since 2015.
