Niagara Regional Police (NRPS) say a 4-year-old boy died after a collision with a pickup truck in Lincoln, Ont., on Monday afternoon.
Officers responded to a call just after 4 p.m. and discovered the child in an area near Greenlane Road and Bartlett Street.
The boy was riding a snow sled when he entered the roadway and was hit by the passing truck, according to the NRPS collision unit.
Niagara EMS says the boy suffered “a traumatic head injury.” He died from injuries in hospital.
