Man dead after North York shooting, 2 suspects seen fleeing the area: police

Toronto police are investigating a deadly shooting on the city’s northwest side.

It happened just after 5 a.m. Saturday at a building in the North York area.

Police say three men in their 30s were shot and two suspects — both believed to be men — were spotted fleeing the scene in a dark-coloured SUV.

Officers attempted life-saving measures but one of the victims was pronounced dead.

The other two were taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The victim who died has since been identified as Gary Douglas Gallant, 36, of Toronto.
