The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting to welcome their first child into the world any day now.

And while this pregnancy in particular has captured the attention of throngs (except Americans), there’s one thing Kate shares with moms-to-be worldwide.

She will get unsolicited parenting advice by friends, family, and total strangers.

A few celebrities have already shared their wisdom with the royal couple.

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi of Jersey Shore fame wrote an open letter to Kate sharing some parenting tips and well wishes.

“In the beginning, right when you take your royal golden nugget home to the castle is the most exciting experience of your life,” wrote Polizzi. (They live in a palace, but close enough.)

Snooki told Kate to sing to her baby a lot, or perhaps elicit a lullaby from Elton John.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

“When I sing to my booger, he calms down and stares at me like he’s in love, which makes me feel amazing—or he’s just trying to tell me to shut the hell up because I can’t sing.”

Marvin Humes, a member of British boy band JLS, had some advice for Prince William – get some sleep.

“Wills needs to get as much sleep as he can now,” the singer told British news and gossip website, Mirror Online.

The new dad said that William (or perhaps one of many household staff) will have to chip in with the nappies and bottles, so he might as well rest up.

English media personality Katie Price told Kate to trust her instincts.

“I would say to anyone out there who is pregnant, do your own thing.” Price, a mother of three, said the Duchess will have tonnes of advice thrown at her.

While wearing a giant lips costume at the premiere for her new perfume, Price (clearly taking her own advice) said Kate should “do whatever [she] wants to do.”

“It’s your baby, do what feels right.”

On balancing work and motherhood, English model and television personality Tess Daly said it’s not easy.

“It’s just a balancing act that every working mother I know is trying to perfect,” she told to Entertainment Wise.

The good news for Kate is that her full time job is being a Duchess. It comes with some perks.
