HALIFAX — A 25-year-old Halifax man has been charged with possessing child pornography after a search by the Internet Child Exploitation unit at a Black Street home.
Thomas Anthony Eisan is also charged with with making available child pornography, unsafe storage of a firearm and breaching a court order.

According to his online resume, Eisan has worked directly with children as a staff member at the Halifax YMCA, the St. Joseph’s Children’s Centre and the Boys & Girls Club in Dartmouth.
Recently Eisan has been employed as a live-in nanny and babysitter for several Halifax children.

In April, Eisan was charged with two counts of sexual assault. The alleged assaults do not involve children.
After a court appearance on Thursday, Eisan was released under conditions not to communicate with children under 16, not to possess a device with internet access and not to be with 25 meters of a place frequented by children.
