Between 1934 until his retirement in 1979, one of Vancouver’s most prolific street photographers captured the pulse of Vancouver.
Foncie Pulice captured people walking down Granville and Hastings Street at a time when personal cameras were rare.

It’s estimated that Pulice took 15 million photos over his lifetime and the images are a hallmark of most Vancouver family photo albums.
Foncie’s Fotos, a new exhibition dedicated to the photographer, is on display now until January 2014 at the Museum of Vancouver.
