Gas leak closes Abbotsford Walmart

The Walmart at High Street Shopping Centre in Abbotsford was closed Sunday after a gas line and sprinkler line leak.

At around 5:30 a.m. fire crews were called out to the mall for a reported sprinkler alarm.

When crews arrived they found high gas levels in the Walmart and evacuated the mall.

Crews say the leak was caused by a worker who hit a gas line and sprinkler line with a fork lift.

No one was injured in the incident.
