A well-known West Coast artist has opened up a new gallery in the renovated CPR Steamship Terminal building overlooking Victoria Harbour.
The Robert Bateman Centre opened yesterday morning and showcases more than 160 pieces.

Paul Gilbert of the Bateman Foundation previously said the improvements began last August and cost about $1 million dollars.
Bateman is expected to be in attendance on Sunday from 1:30 p-m to three p-m.
