TORONTO – Toronto Police have arrested multiple people after shots were fired near an Etobicoke park Thursday afternoon.
The incident happened near Wellesworth Drive and The West Mall in Etobicoke just after 1 p.m.

Police were looking for a grey Dodge Caravan that was seen fleeing the area soon after the shooting.
Multiple people were stopped and searched by police a short time after the shooting near Wellesworth Park.

Police have made some arrests.
Paramedics tell Global News they attended the scene but did not treat any victims.
Police are still investigating and K9 Units are searching the area for more suspects.
