TORONTO — Newlywed Canadian actress Shenae Grimes kicked off her honeymoon Sunday with a message for her fans.
“Thanking all of my fans endlessly for the beautiful well wishes on our recent wedding!,” she tweeted. “Big hugs to all of you for your constant support!”
The former Degrassi star, who just ended a run on 90210, married British model Josh Beech in England on Friday morning.
The couple did not reveal where they are honeymooning.
Grimes, 23, and Beech, 26, tied the knot at a Tudor manor outside London. The bride wore a black Vera Wang halter ball gown with lace bodice and full skirt and carried a bouquet of red flowers. The groom wore a black Saint Laurent Paris by Hedi Slimane.
In March, Grimes said the wedding would be a small affair with “close family and friends.”
The couple announced their engagement last December after less than a year of dating.
Grimes was born and raised in Toronto.
