1 charged as police search for second suspect in reported Tiny Township robbery

A 33-year-old Tay Township woman has been charged as police continue to search for another male suspect in a reported robbery from a Tiny Township home early Friday morning.

Lindsey Marie Pickett has been charged with robbery with violence, breaking and entering, assault and theft under $5,000, police say.

The alleged robbery, which took place on Tiny Beaches Road North, happened when the male and female suspects entered the occupied house, police say.

According to police, the suspects interacted with the homeowner, took a lockbox and other personal property and fled the scene on foot.

The 33-year-old woman was released with a recognizance to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Midland on August 1.
