A Kingston woman is facing charges after an argument with her partner took a violent turn over the weekend.
Media officer Const. Ash Gutheinz said a domestic dispute between a couple broke out on Saturday.
During the argument, the woman allegedly stabbed the man, causing non-life-threatening injuries.
The man fled the apartment and called the police, who then arrested the woman.
Gutheinz said that further investigation revealed that the female was involved in an altercation with her partner week before.
The woman was charged with assault with a weapon, assault bodily harm and assault.
