Second-degree murder charge laid in Black Lake, Sask. homicide

A woman has been charged in a Black Lake, Sask., homicide.

Black Lake RCMP said they were called to a home in the northern Saskatchewan community Saturday morning for a report a man had been stabbed.

Curtis Toutsaint, 30, was found dead by officers from the detachment and medical staff.

An autopsy is scheduled to take place Monday in Saskatoon.

April-Lee Ann Boneleye, 29, is charged with second-degree murder.

She is scheduled to appear March 18 in La Ronge provincial court.

Members of the RCMP major crimes unit north, along with Black Lake RCMP, and forensic identification services from Prince Albert and Tisdale, continue to investigate.

Black Lake is roughly 1,025 kilometres north of Saskatoon.
