“[The invite] was definitely something I was hoping, but I was on the bubble whether I was going to get it or not and very happy when I got it,” Moortgat said.

“When I saw the news release, I got even more excited.”

And he’s not alone in the excitement.

“This is a good opportunity for us to show, not only us, but as a team, that we have some great players and it’s great to be able to represent them.”

It’s an experience all five players happy to share together.

“It’s awesome to be able to go with some of your best friends,” Schienbein said.

“It’s always going to be an honour to go, but being able to do it with guys who mean so much to you, it means a little bit more.”
