Billy Talent frontman to co-host 2019 Juno Awards gala dinner

The Junos have landed a talented co-host for their gala dinner at the London Convention Centre, an evening before the hallmark awards show at Budweiser Gardens.

Ben Kowalewicz, lead singer of seven-time Juno award winning Canadian rock band Billy Talent, will emcee Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) industry event on March 16.  CBC Music’s Julie Nesrallah will join him in co-hosting the event, which will feature live music and the presentation of 36 JUNO awards.

Among the night’s performers is four-time JUNO nominee and Sarnia-native Donovan Woods, as well as Dizzy, Exco Levi, Hubert Lenoir, and Port Cities.

The evening will also put a spotlight on special achievement award recipients: Humanitarian of the Year, David Foster, Special Achievement Award, Duff Roman, and Teacher of the Year, Kim Hastings.
