RCMP say two people have been transported to hospital after a single-vehicle collision in East Uniacke, N.S., on Saturday.

Police say the crash occurred at 4:41 p.m., in the 300 block of East Uniacke Road.

The driver of the vehicle, a 32-year-old woman from Hants County, suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to Halifax via LifeFlight for treatment.

The passenger, a 31-year-old woman also from Hants County, was transported by EHS to hospital with serious injuries.

East Uniacke Road was closed until Saturday evening.
