Longueuil police are asking for the public’s help to track down four men following a violent bar fight on Montreal’s south shore.

The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 29 inside Brasserie Le Routier on Mario Avenue in Brossard.

The bar’s surveillance video shows one man sitting at the bar.

He has a short exchange with a group of men before getting punched in the face; he appears to fall unconscious.

Police say the victim sustained a concussion, lost two teeth and still suffers from severe headaches.

Officers say they believe the attack could have been random.

“They exchanged a few words before the assault, but the victim watched the video this morning and says he doesn’t know who they are,” said Longueuil police spokesperson Mélanie Mercille.

The main suspect, whom police believe is in his 30s, was wearing a black coat with fur trim and glasses. He was accompanied by three other men.

According to police, they all fled the scene in a Dodge vehicle, possibly a Caravan or a Journey.

Police are asking anyone with information to call 450-463-7211. Anyone who calls will remain anonymous.
