Officers say they believe the attack could have been random.
“They exchanged a few words before the assault, but the victim watched the video this morning and says he doesn’t know who they are,” said Longueuil police spokesperson Mélanie Mercille.
The main suspect, whom police believe is in his 30s, was wearing a black coat with fur trim and glasses. He was accompanied by three other men.

According to police, they all fled the scene in a Dodge vehicle, possibly a Caravan or a Journey.
“It would help if we had the licence plate number,” Mercille said.
Police are asking anyone with information to call 450-463-7211. Anyone who calls will remain anonymous.
