Officers set up a containment around a home on the street, located between Victoria and Barber avenues. Three nearby schools were also placed in a hold and secure.

Around 5:15 p.m., police said a wanted male had been taken into custody without incident. They were expected in court on Saturday for a bail hearing.

Though Main Street had reopened, police said officers would remain in the area while the investigation continued.
