North Shore Rescue says the body of a missing snowshoer has been recovered from the site of an avalanche.
Rescue crews resumed their search for Remi Michalowski on Wednesday.
The 39-year-old was swept away by an avalanche Monday morning in a remote area near Mount Seymour.

His friend was able to hang onto a tree as the snow crashed down, and then called 911.
Members of North Shore Rescue could not get out Tuesday because bad weather made searching too dangerous.
