A foster with Winnipeg Giant Breed Rescue tells Global News Morning some of the roles she has when it comes to looking after the dogs – Feb 18, 2019

Every Monday on Adopt a Pal, Global News Morning features rescues in Manitoba to help them find forever homes.

This week, Winnipeg Giant Breed Rescue popped by to showcase some playful dogs looking for their new home.

Billy is a two-year-old who loves to cuddle up and give kisses. He is also very energetic and looks to greet whoever is in the room.

Reece is a four-month-old husky mix. He gets curious about things and makes the rounds in a room to sniff-out what exactly is going on. Reece enjoys showing love to everyone, especially if you seek kisses and cuddles.

The rescue has been busy getting dogs from northern parts of the province this winter, with many being sick or injured prior to arrival.

The need for foster parents is always high for rescues, including Winnipeg Giant Breed Rescue.

Donations like food, pee pads, or cleaning supplies are always in need as well.
