A Hillsdale man has been charged following a child exploitation investigation, police say.
According to the Ontario Provincial Police, the force’s child sexual exploitation unit received information from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Atlanta, relating to the internet exploitation of children.
Police say following a three-month investigation, officers executed search warrants on Thursday, at a residence in Hillsdale and at a commercial property in Barrie.
Police say 49-year-old Jeffery Krause was arrested and charged with invitation to sexual touching, possession of child pornography, making child pornography and accessing child pornography.

Officers say three computer devices were seized for further examination.
According to police, the accused is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing in Barrie on Friday.
Officers say the investigation is ongoing.
