Police release video of suspect vehicle in Cambridge fatal shooting

Waterloo Regional Police have released short video  of a vehicle they believe may be connected to the fatal shooting of Kurt McKechnie in Cambridge.

Police were called to a home on Southwood Drive in Cambridge on Jan. 31, after someone reported a man being injured.

When police arrived, they found McKechnie, who was suffering serious injuries from gunshot wounds.

The 56-year-old Cambridge man was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police believe that it was a targeted killing and are looking to speak with four people who were seen leaving the area at the time of the incident. Police believe they left the area in the SUV in the photo.

They think the four individuals were known to McKechnie.
