The Prince of Darkness himself, Ozzy Osbourne, has been admitted to a hospital due to “complications” from the flu as confirmed by his longtime manager and wife, Sharon Osbourne.
“As some of you may have heard, Ozzy was admitted to hospital following some complications from the flu,” she wrote. “His doctors feel this is the best way to get him on a quicker road to recovery.”
As per the doctors’ orders, the 70-year-old rocker was forced to postpone the U.K. and European legs of his final world tour, ‘No More Tours 2,’ with Judas Priest. The cancellations came only a week prior to his hospitalization.
This is the second time in less than six months that the Crazy Train singer had to reschedule some tour dates.
Last October, Osbourne was infected with a near-fatal staph infection in his thumb. He was forced to cancel the remainder of the 2018 tour.

Although Osbourne expressed disappointment in himself, he was gracious in thanking his fans for their continued love, support and all-around loyalty in an official statement.
“I’m completely devastated for having to postpone the tour. It just seems that since October everything I touch has turned to s**t.”
“First the staph infection in my thumb and now coming down with the flu and bronchitis,” he continued. “I want to apologize to all of my fans who have been so loyal over the years, my band, my crew, and to Judas Priest for letting you all down.”
“I promise the tour with Judas Priest will be completed,” the former Black Sabbath frontman added. “It’s being rescheduled right now to start in September.”
“Again, I apologize to everyone. God Bless. Love you all, Ozzy,” he concluded.
Sharon Osbourne, 66, too expressed her gratitude. “Thanks to everyone for their concern and love,” she wrote on Twitter.

Fans of Osbourne and Black Sabbath old and new united online to send their best wishes to the heavy metal icon.
“Get well soon” messages flooded Twitter along with #OzzyOsbourne.
With last year’s hospital visit, diehard fans are becoming more worried about the status of Osbourne’s health.
Osbourne still has his heart set on completing the ‘No More Tours 2’ farewell tour. European and U.K. tour dates are expected to be rescheduled soon.

As of this writing, none of the North American ‘No More Tours 2’ shows have been postponed or cancelled.
