Adam Wallis
Adam Wallis is a video journalist at Global News, contributing to the National Online Video team based in Toronto. After attending both York University and Seneca College, Adam’s career began in Toronto working various radio jobs.
From there, his love for music and media brought him to Global, where he spent two years as a writer for the National Online Entertainment team before eventually joining the video team.
With a passion for breaking news, Adam has covered topics such as the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, multiple U.S. and Canadian federal elections, the trucker convoy protests in Canada, and more.
And while he’s no stranger to social and political journalism, his undying love for music has also given Adam the opportunity to interview some of the industry’s biggest names, including: Jack White, Billy Ray Cyrus, Rob Halford, Ian Astbury, and Matt Shultz of Cage the Elephant.
Originally from England, Adam moved to Canada in 2004, and his love for travelling brought him back a whopping five times. While he’s exploring new cities, he loves attending local gigs – big or small – and embracing cultures of all kinds, through his ever-curious taste buds. When he’s not on the road, Adam winds down at home with loud heavy metal music and a bit of LEGO.
