A major road through downtown Guelph will be closed for three weeks.
Beginning Monday, Norfolk Street will be closed between Waterloo Avenue and Macdonell Street until at least Feb. 18, the city said in a news release.
Crews will be installing underground electrical systems on Norfolk Street as part of the Wilson Street parkade project.
The city said detour signs will be in place to direct drivers although pedestrians will be able to access the sidewalk along the west side of Norfolk Street.
Guelph Transit routes 9, 41 and 99 will be impacted and customers can visit its’ website for information on stop changes and detours.
