The initial release said the collision was fatal, but RCMP has since said that it is not fatal.

EMS said a man was taken to Foothills Medical Centre in life-threatening condition while a teen girl and teen boy were taken to the Alberta Children’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Highway 22 was shut down until 1:30 p.m. in both directions near the Fireside neighbourhood.

RCMP are recommending against unnecessary travel due to weather conditions causing snow-covered, icy roads.
