A dramatic video captured in Turkey‘s southern province of Antalya shows a man trying to rescue a 20-year-old woman stranded in a car when he is dragged into a river and carried away by flood waters.
Footage shot by Demiroren News Agency (DHA) showed the car being swept into the river as a man entered the vehicle to search for the missing woman.
The man was rescued, and the damaged car was towed to the shore after rescuers arrived at the site, DHA reported. The news agency said rescue teams were still searching for the woman, whose car was pushed into the flooded river by tornado-like winds.
One person was killed and 11 others wounded as tornado-like winds knocked down trees and damaged houses and agriculture fields, Turkey‘s state-owned Anadolu Agency reported. Five fishing boats also sank and 10 boats were damaged by the winds, Anadolu added.
