A 36-year-old man is facing charges in connection with a shooting that took place in Kirkland on Friday evening.
The Kirkland man is being charged with two counts of attempted murder, aggravated assault and illegal use of a firearm.

Montreal police said they were called about a man in crisis inside a home in Kirkland on Friday at around 7 p.m.
Police spokesperson Manuel Couture said when officers arrived at the scene, they located a five-year-old boy and a 69-year-old man, who were both injured by gunshot wounds.
They were taken to hospital for treatment and were listed in stable condition on Saturday.
Couture said the suspect, who was still inside the home near the intersection of Ste-Marie Road and Montrose Drive, came out and surrendered to police officers without resisting arrest around 8:10 p.m.
He was detained in hospital overnight and appeared in court via video-conference Saturday afternoon.
He is expected to see a psychologist before he is due back in court on Monday.
Neighbours told Global News on Saturday that the suspect lives in the home with his wife, two young children and in-laws.
Neighbours also said the victims were the suspect’s son and father-in-law. Police would not confirm those reports.
