The commander of the International Space Station snapped a picture of Winnipeg as the orbiting module passed overhead, and posted the image on Twitter as he has done countless times with countless other locations around the world.

“Winnipeg, Manitoba, incredibly clear. The river floodway diversion looks smart from space,” Hadfield wrote on the popular social networking site.

Hadfield has previously posted pictures of Winnipeg, Portage La Prairie and a finger of land on Lake Winnipeg from space.
