Police say the death of a 62-year-old man in Minto, N.B., this week is now being investigated as a homicide.
New Brunswick RCMP say officers were called to the home on Centennial Drive just before 10:15 a.m. Wednesday.
Officers found the man dead upon their arrival, according to a police news release.

An autopsy was conducted and police say the death was suspicious.
The victim has been identified as Michael Wagnies.

The RCMP’s major crime unit is investigating.

Anyone who may have seen someone going in or out of Wagnies’ home in Minto Wednesday morning is asked to contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
