A 39-year-old Belleville man died on Sunday evening after OPP say he lost control of his motorcycle and hit a tree.
According to OPP Const. Derrick Osmond, police arrived to the single-vehicle collision on Frankford Road in Quinte West around 7:30 p.m.
Osmond says they believe the collision happened 20 minutes before police arrived.

He added that there was no indication that the driver was under the influence at the time of the collision, and Osmond said OPP are currently unsure if speed was a factor.
Police are not releasing the name of the deceased because they are still in the process of notifying next of kin.
