A woman is facing impaired driving charges after a hit and run in downtown Saskatoon.

Police were told a woman drove away from a nightclub at around 2 a.m. CT Monday and hit a parked vehicle in the area of 24th Street East and Wall Street.

A passenger then fell out of the green minivan, which then headed down 22nd Street before being stopped by a patrol officer.

Police said the minivan was missing its rear sliding door.

A 30-year-old Saskatoon woman was taken into custody and is facing impaired driving and exceeding .08 charges.

The passenger was taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
