Cool and cloudy conditions stick around, but heat and sunshine are on the horizon.
Saskatoon Forecast
Tuesdays
7 degrees was where Saskatoon started off the day with winds finally easing back across the region.
Overcast skies rolled in during the morning as temperatures leveled out in the mid-teens into the noon hour.
A few sunny breaks will start to poke through the clouds during the afternoon with a slight chance of showers as we climb up a few degrees further to a daytime high in the low 20s.
Tuesday Night
Partly to mostly cloudy skies will linger through the night as we cool back toward single digits overnight.
Wednesday
Another wave of clouds associated with an upper trough will swing through on Wednesday with a slight chance of showers at times during the day before we get into some late day sunny breaks once again.
Temperatures will once again be cool with an afternoon high hoping to make it into the low 20s despite a breezy northerly wind gusting at times up to 30 km/h.
Thursday-Friday
High pressure will drop in and brings back mostly sunny skies on Thursday before an upper low sneaks into the south to destabilize things on Friday, bringing in a chance of late day showers and storms.
Daytime highs will hop back up into the into the mid-20s with winds finally easing back to give us a two day break ahead of the weekend.
Weekend Outlook
Some of that instability will stick around on Saturday with a chance of late day showers and thunderstorms under a mix of sun and cloud before mostly sunny skies return on Sunday as afternoon highs climb into the upper 20s.
