A 39-year-old woman from Charlottetown is facing charges in connection with the deaths of two infants following a yearlong investigation.
Charlottetown’s major crime unit has charged the woman with two counts of infanticide in connection with incidents from 2014 and 2016.

She has also been charged with failing to seek assistance in childbirth and two counts of disposing of the body of a child with intent to conceal the fact it had been delivered.

The woman – who was not identified by police – is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
