A Nova Scotia man is facing child pornography charges after the RCMP searched a home in Upper Granville, N.S.

RCMP say their Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit executed a search warrant and arrested Joshua Aaron Evans.

ICE was assisted by the RCMP Technological Crime Unit, RCMP Special Tactical Operations and Kings District RCMP.
Evans is facing a slew of charges including accessing, distribution and possession of child pornography. As well, he is charged with failing to comply with a probation order and failing to comply with a prohibition order.

He has been remanded and is scheduled to return to Annapolis Royal Provincial Court on Aug. 1.
