A man and woman in their 40s are facing drug charges following two separate searches in the Moncton area last week.
New Brunswick RCMP say the first search was conducted at a home on Kenshaw Street in Lakeville, N.B., on Friday morning.
Methamphetamine, marijuana and contraband cigarettes were seized, according to police.

Police arrested and released a 42-year-old woman from Lakeville.
A second search was conducted Friday afternoon at a home on Biddington Avenue, which is a short distance away from the first search.
Officers seized a quantity of marijuana and contraband cigarettes.

A 40-year-old man from Lakeville was arrested and released.
Both are expected to appear in Moncton provincial court on Nov. 13.

Police currently do not believe the incidents are connected.
