Nova Scotia RCMP have laid drug trafficking charges against a 19-year-old in Amherst, N.S., in connection to an investigation carried out on Friday.
Police say that they arrested two 19-year-old men from Amherst on Friday, eventually searching a home on Kent Drive.

At the home RCMP officers, as well as members of the Amherst Police Department, seized a quantity of cannabis, cash and evidence of drug trafficking.
One of the 19-year-olds was released without charges, while Brenden MacCallum has been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and breach of conditions.

MacCallum has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to return to Amherst Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on July 9.
RCMP say their investigation is ongoing.
